TAO Clean Sonic Toothbrush Quick Start Guide

You just received your TAO Clean sonic toothbrush in the mail. In this quick start guide, we’ll walk you through what’s included in the box and how to get everything set up so you can start using it right away.

Unboxing Your TAO Clean Toothbrush

Let’s start by opening the package.

When you open the box, you’ll see all the components neatly organized inside. You can also open the bottom flap to make everything easier to access.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • The TAO Clean UV Base, which is used to charge, dry, and sanitize your toothbrush
  • The toothbrush handle
  • One toothbrush head (the Whitening Brush Head included with your toothbrush)
  • The charging cord and power brick used to connect the base to power

Removing the Protective Packaging

Before setup, let’s remove all the protective packaging.

  • The base comes wrapped in a plastic covering for sanitation, so go ahead and remove that.
  • Next, take the handle out of its plastic sleeve by pulling up the tab to release it from the packaging.
  • The toothbrush head is packaged in an easy-tear pouch. Open the pouch and slide the brush head out.
  • Lastly, unwrap the charging cord and power brick.

Setting Up Your Toothbrush

Now let’s put everything together.

  1. Place the TAO Clean UV Base on a flat surface, like a bathroom counter.
  2. Plug the charging cord into the back of the base.
  3. Connect the power brick and plug it into a wall outlet.

The base needs to remain plugged in at all times to power the charging, drying, and sanitizing features.

Attaching the Brush Head

To attach the brush head, simply press it firmly onto the top of the handle until it’s secure.

There’s no twisting required.

Properly Docking the Toothbrush

This step is very important.

To dock the handle properly, place it upside down into the base with the buttons facing inward toward the glowing logo badge.

Once inserted correctly, the base will automatically begin charging, drying, and sanitizing the toothbrush.

You’ll see the logo badge glow blue and pulse. This indicates that the UV sanitizing cycle is active.

The UV cleaning cycle runs for about 15 minutes after each use and will also turn on automatically throughout the day to help keep your brush clean.

When the UV cycle is complete, the logo badge will glow white.

This white glow functions as a night light and can be turned on or off using the black button on the bottom of the base.

You’re Ready to Brush

That’s it. Your TAO Clean sonic toothbrush is now fully set up and ready to use.
