TAO Kids Sonic Toothbrush Quick Start Guide

You just received your TAO Kids Sonic toothbrush in the mail.

In this quick start guide, we’ll walk through what’s included in the box and how to get everything set up so your child can start brushing right away.

What’s Included in the Box

Let’s start by opening the package.

Inside the box, you’ll find:

  • The TAO Kids Sonic toothbrush handle
  • One kid-sized toothbrush head
  • The TAO Kids UV sanitizing base
  • A USB charging cable for the toothbrush handle
  • Three sticker packs for decorating the toothbrush and base

The TAO Kids base is used for UV sanitizing and storage. Batteries are required and sold separately.

To recap, inside the box you’ll receive:

  • 1 TAO Kids Sonic toothbrush handle
  • 1 brush head
  • 1 UV sanitizing base
  • 1 USB charging cable
  • 3 sticker packs

Removing the Packaging

Before setup:

  1. Remove all packaging materials
  2. Take the toothbrush handle out of its packaging
  3. Open the brush head pouch and slide the brush head out
  4. Set aside the sticker packs for decorating later

Installing Batteries in the Base

The TAO Kids base uses batteries to power the UV sanitizing feature.

To install the batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the base
  2. Insert the batteries according to the markings inside the compartment
  3. Close the battery compartment securely

The base is now ready to sanitize the toothbrush.

Charging the Toothbrush Handle

The TAO Kids Sonic toothbrush handle charges separately from the base.

To charge the handle:

  1. Use the included USB charging cable
  2. Locate the small cover at the bottom of the handle
  3. Flip open the cover to reveal the micro-USB charging port
  4. Insert the small end of the USB cable into the handle
  5. Plug the other end into a wall outlet or USB power source

Allow the toothbrush handle to fully charge before first use.

Attaching the Brush Head

To attach the brush head:

  1. Align it with the top of the handle
  2. Press it firmly into place

There’s no twisting required. Just apply gentle pressure until it feels secure.

Using the UV Sanitizing Base

The TAO Kids base includes a built-in UV sanitizing feature to help keep the toothbrush clean between uses.

After brushing:

  1. Place the toothbrush handle upside down in the base
  2. Make sure the brush head is facing downward

Docking the toothbrush in this position allows the UV sanitizing cycle to begin automatically.

The base is designed for sanitizing and storage only. It does not charge the toothbrush handle.

Decorating the Toothbrush

To make brushing more fun, kids can use the included sticker packs to decorate both the toothbrush handle and the base.

Apply stickers to clean, dry surfaces and let kids customize their setup however they like.
