System Maintenance: Toothbrush Handle & Base

Avoid a Dirty Brush

Don't place a dirty brush into the base sanitizer. Please follow these easy-to-do maintenance routines to ensure your TAO Clean Sonic Toothbrush is always in the best condition.

Daily Handle Maintenance

Step 1

After brushing, first, rinse the brush head, making sure to remove toothpaste debris.

Step 2

Rinse the area where the brush head meets the handle stem.

Step 3

Give the handle a good shake, removing all excess water. Dry with a clean towel if necessary.

Weekly Handle Maintenance

Step 1

First, remove the brush head.

Step 2

Take a clean towel and wipe it underneath the brush head, removing any debris.

Step 3

Now wipe the handle stem. Rinse if neccessary, remove all debris. Finally, reattach the handle; you are good to go.

Weekly Base Maintenance

Step 1

Wrap a dry towel around your index finger.

Step 2

IMPORTANT - Make sure the base is unplugged. Gently protrude your finger and towel into the top of the base as far as it is comfortable.

Step 3

Turn the base carefully with your other hand, allowing the towel to wipe the inside as it turns. Now move to the next stage.

Step 4

Again wrap a dry towel around your index finger.

Step 5

Gently protrude your finger and towel into the bottom of the base as far as it is comfortable.

Step 6

Turn the base carefully with your other hand, allowing the towel to wipe the inside. Reconnect the base and it’s ready.
